Acceptable Use Policy

1. Scope and responsibility

Orbis Sign is a service of Orbis Digital Ltd (the Provider, Orbis, we or us). The person or organisation buying or using the Service is the Customer. A person invited to sign is a Signer.

This policy applies to Customers, authorised users and anyone interacting with the Service. Customers are responsible for their users, recipients, Customer Content and configured workflows, and must have the rights and lawful basis needed for them.

2. Unlawful, fraudulent or harmful use

Do not use the Service to commit or facilitate fraud, forgery, impersonation, deception, harassment, threats, unlawful discrimination or other illegality; misrepresent identity, capacity or authority; send malware; conceal criminal proceeds; or obtain a signature through coercion or materially misleading information.

3. Messages and recipients

Do not send spam, unlawful direct marketing, bulk unsolicited signing requests or messages to unlawfully obtained contact details. Identify the responsible sender, use accurate recipient details, provide required notices and respect objections. Signing links and codes must be shared only with intended recipients.

4. Privacy, confidentiality and content rights

Do not upload or disclose personal data unlawfully; submit material you lack permission to use; infringe privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property or other rights; expose another person's credentials or documents; or use Orbis Sign for content whose handling is prohibited by the Agreement. Apply additional care before including special-category, criminal-offence, children's or highly confidential data.

5. Platform security and fair use

Do not probe, scan or test vulnerabilities without prior written authorisation; bypass authentication, OTP, roles, tenant separation, rate or plan limits; access another account or workspace; intercept links; introduce harmful code; scrape or automate excessive requests; overload the Service; or reverse engineer except where law prevents restriction.

6. Inappropriate execution workflows

Do not represent that Orbis guarantees legal validity or use its standard workflow where law, a regulator, filing body or agreement requires a different identity, witness, notarisation, certification, delivery or execution process. Users must assess suitability as explained on the Electronic Signatures page.

7. Reporting and enforcement

Report suspected compromise, unlawful content or misuse through the contact form or at Reveal support email, without sending unnecessary sensitive data. Orbis may investigate credible reports and preserve relevant evidence.

Subject to the Agreement and law, Orbis may restrict affected content or access, require remediation, suspend an account, notify appropriate authorities or terminate for serious or repeated breach. Where practicable, action will be proportionate and notice will be given. No separate public appeal procedure or response-time commitment is stated.
